01 — Context and Scope
Modern Home Fair needed a connected workflow across registration, attendance, purchase receipt submissions, gift redemption, and follow-up. This project-based engagement took place in June–July 2026 using GoHighLevel.
Collaborators built the initial foundation. I continued the implementation and helped ensure the automation operated smoothly during the event. This was a continuation of collaborative work, rather than a system I built entirely from scratch.
02 — The Visitor Journey
The workflow covered registration, confirmation messages, reminders, QR check-in, receipt uploads, gift redemption, and post-event follow-up. Visitors uploaded their purchase receipts to redeem gifts.
Conceptual sequence of the event workflow.
- Registration
- Confirmation & reminders
- QR check-in
- Receipt upload
- Automatic vendor categorisation
- Gift redemption & reporting
- Follow-up
03 — Connecting Receipts to Vendor Records
The system automatically categorised submitted receipts by vendor, connecting the recorded spending to visitor and vendor records.
Spending in this case study means spending recorded through submitted receipts. These records should not be read as complete event revenue or independently audited revenue.
04 — Reporting and Access
The organiser could access reporting through the GoHighLevel mobile app. Vendor access was available at the organiser’s discretion.
This connected the event workflow with a way for the organiser to review the receipt-based records by vendor.
05 — Use During and After the Fair
The system was used during a completed fair. The company also used the reporting when approaching prospective vendors.
These are qualitative outcomes reported by me, Jin Kang Lim. No numerical performance result is claimed. Figures, screenshots, customer details, and transaction data remain confidential; this case study contains only the approved workflow description.
06 — My Contribution
My contribution was continuing the existing implementation and supporting smooth operation of the automation during the event. The work demonstrates my experience connecting CRM workflows, customer journeys, and practical business reporting within a collaborative project.
